Living a Dream | Seeing Tony Robbins Live
I recently had the opportunity to realize a dream I never thought would come true. I've been following life strategist Tony Robbins for many years but never had the opportunity to see him speak live...until recently.
Sometimes when dreams are realized they can fall short...this was not one of those times. I experienced emotions I'd long since buried. It was so powerful and magical that I'll never forget it. And yes, it made me want to be a better person and do more with my life. I want to realize more dreams!
So how do you make your dreams come true?
I'm sure you've asked yourself that question on many occasions. The first way to accomplish a dream is to have one. When we're young we dream big, sky's the limit! As we get older and more cynical we lose sight of these dreams believing they will never happen so we might as well get our heads out of the clouds and be "realistic." It's time to recapture that childlike spirit! Go deep within yourself and dust off the dreams you've put away. If it's still in your heart it's still worth pursuing.
Once you have a dream to follow the next step is to chart the route to your destination. This is just a way of saying develop a plan of action to make this goal a reality and don't waver from it. Say you've wanted to learn a new skill like painting or photography. The first small steps to take would be to look up some classes you could sign up for or some tutorials online you can follow. From there you continue to take action until you reach that goal and your dream of being a photographer, or painter, or whatever it is you're seeking is now a reality!
In my case, I saw opportunity staring me in the face. Tony Robbins was coming as part of an event. It was such a small venue I was skeptical he was really going to show up. In fact, they wound up changing the dates to 2 months later! But I took a chance and bought a ticket "just in case"...it wound up being the best decision I ever made!
So how do you make your dreams come true? You find your dream, take a risk to attain it, and never give up on it!
