Meet the Heroes of My Urban Fantasy Series

I love character development. Creating characters may be my favorite thing about writing. In my urban fantasy series, Silke's Strike Force, there are a wide variety of characters each endowed with superpowers.
First, the heroes
When I first started writing the series it was a totally different concept and it evolved into Silke's Strike Force. Part of the story is an homage to the line of figures and 80s cartoon series G.I. Joe (hence the file cards). For eagle-eyed fans you can spot certain names of characters throughout the books that reference the Joes in some way. I also drew alot of inspiration from my older brother Charlie and some fan-fiction he wrote a long time ago.
